About:

For the 46th year, Cal Poly’s Orchesis Dance Company presented an eclectic combination of dance performances in “Transcend.” Audience members experienced the works of local and nationally known guest artists, Cal Poly dance faculty, and students within the genres of modern, contemporary, jazz, ballet, and more. Orchesis company members, Cal Poly students who are chosen by audition, rehearsed the dynamic and energetic pieces since September. This concert had something for everyone and was a San Luis Obispo favorite!
