Quintessence (Spring 2023)

Quintessence brings together 100+ dancers from across Cal Poly to create a powerful performance reflective of its diverse, but unified cast. Cal Poly’s “Learn by Doing” philosophy is embraced throughout the creation of this show as it is completely student directed, choreographed, and performed. With a range of styles including contemporary, modern, jazz, jazz funk, tap, ballet, and ballroom, Quintessence embodies the pure essence and soul of dance.
