Polaris (Spring 2024)

Cal Poly’s Theater & Dance Department is proud to present this year’s Spring Dance Concert: Polaris. Also known as the North Star, Polaris is a historical symbol of constant guidance and direction. This concert unites 100+ dancers from across Cal Poly under one movement: to create a stellar performance reflective of its diverse cast. Cal Poly’s “Learn by Doing” philosophy is embraced throughout the creation of this show as it is completely directed, choreographed, and performed by students. With a range of styles, including modern, contemporary, jazz, and tap, dancers grow and navigate through dance — our Polaris.
