About Erin M. Solemsaas

Erin received her MFA in Technical Production from Florida State University, and her BA in Theatre from North Dakota State University. She has worked professionally in arts administration/theatre management all over the United States, serving as Production Manager, Stage Manager, Safety Coordinator, Technical Director, and Technical Theatre Instructor at such companies as SLO Rep, PCPA (Santa Maria), Rose Theater (Omaha), Zach Theatre (Austin), the Santa Fe Opera, the School of Theatre at FSU (Tallahassee), Trollwood Performing Arts School (Fargo), and Theatre B (Fargo).

Erin has taught courses in Stage Management, Technical Production, Introduction to Lighting, Introduction to Technical Theatre, and Theatre Safety at the University level as well as Sound & Lighting at the High School/Middle School levels. She has mentored many apprentices and interns of various levels/skill sets, particularly in the area of Stage Management.
