About Colum Parke Morgan

Colum Parke Morgan, an international performance coach, actor, and teacher, specializes in American and European performance methods, including masks and biomechanics. A certified acting coach, Colum earned his BFA in Music & Theatre from University of Kansas-Lawrence, and his MFA in Acting from University of Texas-Austin.

Colum previously studied in small group and private workshop settings with Norman Taylor (Lecoq training), Gennadi Bogdanov (Meyerhold’s Biomechanics), Theatre de l’Ange Fou (Decroux’s Corporeal Mime), Larry Silverberg (Meisner training), Robin Carr (Lessac Voice training), Sergei Ostrenko (Russian GITIS training), and Thomas Prattki (arthaus.berlin).

Colum has worked and performed in a range of styles, including improvisation, children’s theatre, melodrama, vaudeville, musicals, classical and devised theatre. He has appeared and performed in film and TV, on radio, and onstage in many settings throughout parts of the U.S., Europe, Pacific Islands, Central America, North Africa and elsewhere.

Today, his work frequently finds him guiding individuals toward integrating movement and play into their everyday practice.

Colum also possesses TEFL certification (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), and has taught in Paris, Berlin, and San Francisco.

His first book Your Visual Connection was released in Feb 2023.
