2020 Friday Speaker Series

Each week, Cal Poly’s Theatre and Dance Department hosts an hour-long Zoom interview with an exciting Theatre-Maker. The interview is guided by questions generated by Cal Poly’s theatre students.

We are pleased that our Guest this week is hair designer and wig maker: Bobbie Cliffton Zlotnik.

Bobbie Zlotnik is a NYC based hair designer and wig maker. His Off-Broadway design credits include Emojiland (Drama Desk Nomination) Disenchanted, BedBugs!!!, and Forbidden Broadway. Recent design credits include Drood (Manhattan School of Music) I Due Figaro (Manhattan School Of Music), Elf (Gateway), Kinky Boots (Hangar), and the premiere of To Wong Foo – The Musical (AADA). His styling work has been featured on many TV shows including “Marvelous Mrs Maisel”, “Plot Against America”, and multiple seasons of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “All-Stars”.
