Description: 

The annual Spring Dance Concert was sponsored Cal Poly’s Theatre & Dance Department under the direction of student directors and faculty advisors. This concert was an eclectic combination of student choreography. It aimed to include a variety of dance styles and dancers of different skill levels, while reflecting artistic exploration, originality, professionalism, and maturity. The pieces were each choreographed and performed by Cal Poly students from diverse majors and backgrounds. 

“Onward & Upward” featured 25 dances in a variety of genres, including ballet, tap, Bollywood, jazz, contemporary, modern and hip hop — all communicating forward movement.
